We all are completely different in our
approach to eating; some eat little while others eat a lot.
Someone who has an eating disorder can often go to extremes
of each of those and eat too little or too much. At the
same time, the methods of controlling weight loss or gain
can be harmful.
Eating disorders can happen in both men and women and normally
start with diets but then continue as they strive to go
lower than the normal weight for their age and height.
Hypnosis is not an alternative to seeking medical help
with these disorders but can be of constructive assistance
in providing a person with a greater feeling of worth and
happiness with their own bodies. This in turn helps them
to feel confident in eating or going to the gym or forming
new relationships.
